Community

Local residents will play an active role in the development of the Wellington Power Station.  More than 200 jobs will be created during the construction phase, and 10 permanent roles will continue at the plant once operations begin.
 
Members of the community will be invited to participate in the establishment of the Community Liaison Group that will ensure extensive consultation with the community.
 
A 24-hour toll-free phone number, a mail and an email address has also been set up to register comments, feedback, issues or complaints.
