The Kwinana Power Station officially commenced operations in late 2008, and was another ERM project completed safely, ahead of time, and under budget.

During its development phase, 300 jobs were created by the plant and a further 20 permanent jobs are continuing into the future.

Kwinana Power Station consulted extensively with local people and a variety of groups through forums and one-on-one meetings during the planning stage of the project.

This input from the community played a valuable role in shaping the many elements of Kwinana’s development.

The power station will be an active supporter of the Kwinana community and is currently providing scholarships for Nyoongar youths to attend Guilford Grammar School. For more information about this program and ERM's other community activities, click here.
