ERM Power Retail has successfully billed its first set of customers with Sage EMS.
ERM has built its business on promising customers "flexible, and easy to read bills" and that “reliability and accuracy is assured”. ERM Power Retail Manager Billing and Data, Dave Harvey said Sage had ensured it had delivered on this promise.
Dave Harvey, Manager Billing and Data said "it gives me great pleasure to advise that ERM’s first bill run resulted in 97 per cent of the total receivables being billed on day one, and only meter data providers' issues on the remaining sites stopped us from achieving a full complement".
"The remaining customers billed the very next day," he said.
Less than three months after signing a contract with Sage to implement its EMS system, ERM transferred its first retail customers.
Sage EMS started managing the customer billing and metering data on January 1, 2008, and the system successfully billed customers on February 1, 2008.
