Welcome to our July edition of Powering On. As we enter the new financial year, I expect that most businesses will be looking forward to putting the past 12 months behind them and embracing new opportunities. This is certainly the case at ERM Power Retail, where we are looking forward to our most successful year yet.

In this edition, we focus on the key issues that will impact on all energy users in coming years. We continue to follow the ongoing debate about carbon emissions and the different opinions surrounding this topic. We will feature outcomes from the Senate Committee hearing into the proposed CPRS, and what that means for the industry.

In this edition, we will also speak with The Hon. Andrew Robb, Federal Member for Goldstein, Shadow Minister for Infrastructure and COAG and Shadow Minister Assisting the Leader on Emissions Trading Design about his perspective on carbon action.

Meanwhile, ERM Power Retail continues to reach new levels of success, with nearly 200 customers on our client base.

A recent addition to our clientele includes Costco, the offshore retail giant that is bringing its first outlet to Melbourne in August this year.
