The ESAA is the leading industry body which represents the Australian governments and companies, including ERM Power, who are involved in generating, supplying, and retailing electricity and natural gas to consumers.

National Electricity Market Management Company

NEMMCO is the market operator of the National Electricity Market (NEM) and controls the national electricity grid from which ERM Power operates. NEMMCO operate in six states/territories and have substantial regulation responsibilities, as they manage the nations’ wholesale trading market in which ERM Power trades in.

The Australian Energy Market Commission

The AEMC was established in 2005 to create market rules and provide policy advice to industry members. In July 2008 they were also given the responsibility to administer the rules for the natural gas market, including gas pipelines, in which ERM Power operates.
