ERM is proud to be a leader in producing cleaner electricity for Australia.

For the past decade, ERM has exclusively developed low-emissions power stations using the latest gas-fired technology. Gas-fired power is currently the only reliable, on-demand alternative to coal-fired generation in Australia.

Over their working life, the power stations ERM has developed will produce approximately 100 million tonnes of green house gas emissions less than their coal counterparts.

In November 2008 in Western Australia, ERM opened the 320 MW NewGen Kwinana, which is the most efficient and least emitting gas-fired power station in Australia. Kwinana is 60 per cent cleaner than the equivalent coal-fired power stations.

Going forward, ERM is also committed to developing wind power stations and continuing to play a major role in reducing the carbon pollution footprint of Australians.
